Datalink supports Kenwood radios using Fleetsync and NexEdge protocols. For more information, please refer to the Kenwood Overview support page.
In this mode, the radios use optional GPS receivers to detect their positions, and the radio display for simple two-way text messaging.
The Tracker i50 communicates using Fleetsync and NexEdge protocols to send short or long data messages over the radio channel. All the standard features of the i50 are available, including g-force, lone-worker and engine monitoring, and optional Wi-Fi for connection to external devices.
With the radios set to transparent mode, Datalink's Mobius and MDT can be used for GPS, messaging and dispatch.
DataGate also supports the Sprite modem, which adds advanced GPS tracking and I/O reporting options.
